And so the sound of the Derelicts was born; blues from the delta, Texas, Chicago and beyond, the early jazz of New Orleans, the sound of the acoustic guitar, and of course, the hub cap. That sound comes alive every night when the Derelict Trio plays. Accentuated by “Dirty D” Olson’s trumpet and sax, Mark Downing’s harmonicas and Shagawa Shorty's steel resonator guitar this music will make you feel like cakewalking into the street, past the crossroads and all the way into town.
